How does wireless broadband work?

Hawaii Broadband uses industry standard wireless network technology to deliver fast internet service to your home.

A small antenna is mounted on the outside of your home, nearly always in a location that is not visually distracting.

The radio frequency and transmit power levels of the system are similar to that of cell phones, so there is no danger of harmful radiation and interference with other wireless devices is rare.

The connection to your computer is by standard ethernet cable or wireless router. Multiple computers can be operated at the same time. Windows, Apple, and Linux are all compatible.
