How does Wireless Broadband work?
Hawaii Broadband uses microwave radio to deliver fast
internet service to your home.
The radio frequency and transmit power levels are similar to your handheld cellular telephone,
so there is no danger of harmful radiation and very seldom interference to other wireless devices.
A small antenna is mounted on the outside of your home, with a small cable run to a wireless router located
inside your home.
The connection to your computer is wireless, or by standard ethernet cable at fixed locations. Windows, Apple, and Linux are all fine.
Multiple computers and other devices can operate simultaneously.
